Composer of “Imagine Say”, a song which is gradually becoming the toast of many people in Ghana, Imrana Abdul Latif, who is known in showbiz circles as Imrana, has revealed on the ‘Uncut’ show hosted by radio and tv presenter, Zionfelix that his song was one that was inspired by his personal life.
The budding talent disclosed on the show that his biological mother is a simple fried fish seller in Sunyani of the Brong-Ahafo Region. He added that because this work is one which does not bring in a lot of income for his mother, other people have been the ones who saw to his upbringing.
The Dare Mame Beat records music artiste also revealed that an uncle was the who funded his education while he was at Sunyani Technical University, formerly Sunyani Polytechnic.
Imrana stated that the wife of this uncle did not like him and as such, harassed him a lot while he stayed with them. He sadly disclosed that her hatred for him was great to the extent that he caused the police to arrest him for no reason at all.
Asked where his father was in all of this narrative, the “Imagine Say” hitmaker told Zionfelix that he was a driver with Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom’s GN Bank but is currently unemployed because the company is no longer functional.
